As well as the environmental benefits, fitting evacuated tubes solar panels seriously reduce your energy bills.

 

Hot water heating takes a lot of energy, whatever fuel you use. This accounts for about 30% of your energy bills. After fitting a solar energy evacuated tubes water heating system, this will dramatically reduce the need for you to use your traditional heating methods and seriously reduce your bills. From March through to October your traditional fossil fuel water heating will become almost redundent. During the winter months solar energy can still contribute significantly to your water heating and reduce your fuel bills for years to come.
 

Evacuated tubes hot water solar panels heat up hot water and supply it to your hot water tank, giving you a constant supply of hot water during the day light hours, even on cloudy days. In most cases this will give you sufficent hot water for you not to have to use your conventual water heating method for most of the year.

 

We only fit evacuated tubes solar panels. Tests by the Department of Trade and Industry have proven them to be far more efficient than flat plate collectors.

 

Evacuated tubes hot water solar panels can be used to heat your hot water in two ways:

 

In-direct - This heats up water and transfers it to a coil in your hot water storage tank. You will need a double coil hot water storage tank for this method.

 

Direct - This works like a combination boiler, it heats the water that you use. This method is cheaper to install and is actually more efficient.
